Six long games. The Freshman losing streak dated back to Dec. 22nd, but it was broken this evening as the Vikes beat the visiting Aerouants for the second time this season. The Vikes and Aerouants went back and forth during the first half in a low scoring affair. Emerald hit two near back to back three pointers to take the lead but Tyler Li hit a three at the end of the 2nd to have the Vikes within three points. Riding a big third quarter, Lynbrook took a lead of seven points into the 4th where they stretched the lead into as many as twelve.

Down the stretch strong Viking defense was enough to secure a nine point win at 53-44. Returning from injury, Owen Huang anchored the Vikes with 15 points and effective passing from the post. Aarush Jain added 15 points of his own.

Emerald High School is in it's first year and will soon move into their permanent facilities.
