Boys Basketball saw a double header Thursday afternoon and evening with the Los Gatos Wildcats that both ended in losses for the Vikings. Frosh entered the game with only six eligible players on the bench and were throttled throughout by a quality LG team using a balanced attack and solid defense. The Wildcats blew open the game early and only a particularly strong 4th quarter saved the Vikings from a running clock embarrassment. JV played a tighter game, and led at halftime 20-18. The Vikes were within two points with 3:22 left in the third quarter as the score was 26-24 Los Gatos, but didn't score until the 1:42 mark in the 4th quarter - a more than 9 minute scoring drought which left them down 43-27. The Vikes would score in the last four seconds of the game to lose 43-29. Both team will join Varsity in an away tripleheader at Jefferson (Daly City) in their final game of 2023 on Saturday.
