The Freshman Boys Basketball team must have let it all go during finals week, as they traveled to Aptos for a Thursday afternoon game. The boys came out slow and had a catastrophic first half, scoring only 14 points and being run into the ground with a quality Aptos press. In the second half, the Vikes were able get the engines running and erupted for a 23-3 quarter. The Vikes struggled from the line though, hitting 11 of 27 free throw opportunities for a season low percentage. Additionally, both teams temporarily became disoriented and tried to score on each other's hoops. Final score, Lynbrook 53, Aptos 40. The Boys continue their three-game stretch with Bellarmine on Friday and Carlmont on Saturday.
