The Freshman Boys team were back in the winning column with a strong game Monday night against visiting Westmont. A late bucket followed by a bank three at the end of the first half gave the Vikes an eight-point advantage going into halftime. With strong man-to-man defense Lynbrook overwhelmed Westmont in the second half, eventually winning 52-21. Notably one shoe was gobbled up by the court and prevented a Viking from doing a successful backdoor cut. The shoe was later recovered. The Boys program prepares this week for the 15th Annual Lynbrook Winter Classic - Dec. 7th-9th.
