Lynbrook Boys Basketball Alumni triumphed in the annual Varsity v. Alumni game on Wednesday night. Led by players from the 2021-2022 CCS Div. II Championship Squad, the Alumni pulled away early dropping a barrage of three pointers on the current Varsity squad. Despite a return flurry of three pointers to start the second half, the Varsity couldn't claw their way back and lost by double digits. The alumni team was represented by Fu Schnickens, Shashwater, Super Mannem, All Day, Virus, the Bombay Bullet, Coach Jeremy, Purple Sausage, Junior and D-Train. Head Varsity Coach Rick Appler was both very pleased with the win of alumni and appalled by the loss for Varsity. All agreed the officiating was completely on-point.
